I appreciate any comments on this..
I was using my remote starter to lash the valves and left the ignition in the forward "on" position. After about 10 minutes I noticed some smoke coming from the harness which houses the ignition wires which I had just recently wrapped in electrical tape. Well, the heat split the electrical tape but no cooked wires?? Do you think the tape was just too much insulation and could this be "normal" heat under these conditions? The distributor wasn't in the car at this point FYI. Thanks T/A 70
