The best runs have been shifting at 5600rpm's. Even so, for bracket racing I shift at 5000rpm's, no need to grind up the engine and the car still runs well into the 11's with the lower shift points. It also leaves me a bit of room if I happen to slip just a bit on the launch. I can buzz the engine a bit harder and make up the ET in a close race.....Cliff
