Got the entire engine all buttoned up, the Canton tray, Spott's scraper, Milodon pan, Milodon pick up, Dynagear pump, dipstick tube(s), & all seals blueprinted and JAM UP! Looking real good w/ required tolerances.
But guess what I find that I forgot??? My damn oil pump drive!!! Whaddaidiot! So now rather than dissassembling the pan assy. I'm thinking about removing the two swaged protrusions on the upper shaft & installing it from above. Anyone think this will present a problem in operation? Obviously we ain't purposely running it upside-down. Whaacuthink? SECOND AMENDMENT: AMERICA'S ORIGINAL HOMELAND SECURITY. I Misus Rash'!
