I have a 68 Hurst duelgate shifter in my lemans. The cable is a normal 69 GTO floor shift cable.
The bracket is some piece if ***** after market thing. I pulled it back into first tonight ( on my way to a cruise in ) and it was stuck there. I had a friend jack up the side of the car and help move the linkage while I was on the brakes. The shifter will still hardly move now. No park very hard to get in reverse. I had to run a jumper to by-pass the neutral switch Roll Eyes What might be screwed ? anyone else have this happen. could any one post a pic of the right bracket & cable? Any help would be great.
