Hello. I'm new to the forum. I have a 66 GTO thats been sitting in my garage for years. I did a PHS documentation on the car. It came back as a 389 tri-power 4-speed coupe with A/C and various minor options. It's a CA car and has a 389 Tri-power in it now with the smog system. The dates on the engine, heads, intake match the prod. dates perfectly (within 1 week of build date) The problem is, the engine code is a WT and the PHS docs state it as a WV..could the factory has mis -stamped the block as a 389 4 bbl engine by mistake, or do you think someone replaced the engine with an exact date, 66 389, 4bbl block with an exact dated tripower intake? The trans and rear codes match fine.

Thanks

Gary
