I bought a set of NEW 1968-1972 Round port Hooker
headers off the performance forum from WARIARGTO.
He originally stated that the headers were worth
700 dollars. When no one bid, he dropped the stated price until it was at $300.00 US. I talked
to Goatman and he said the $300.00 was still an
OK price because the headers were painted, not coated, which would have been the $700.00 price
in Summit. After a couple of e-mails to get the
addresses correct, and a postal screw-up on my
part, WARIARGTO received a $300.00 Postal money
order from me. I later received an e-mail saying
the headers went out and attached was a tracking
number. Today, I received the headers, The box
was split open on the bottom and some of the parts
are gone forever. I will try and piece together what I received and see if I have most of the parts. The headers are covered with rust, the
collectors look like they are at least 20 years old and have been sitting in a basement for that whole time. I really bought a bunch of crap.
I can't blame UPS or put in a claim as they will
not honor a claim for poor packaging, rusty parts,
(which they had nothing to do with), or pure
dishonesty. It looks now like I lost the adjustable pipes to change the header length.
