After a V-8 transplant with a originally 4cylinder powered Toyota Celica, I hooked the HEI tach terminal to the factory tach. Works fine except that it seems to be reading double the actual RPM. Obviously, this is because it is designed for a 4 cyl. car but I'd like to keep the factory guages. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this?
