Sure could use some advice. I switched my 64 GTO over to front disc brakes that I took off of a 72 GP. I am using the proportioning valve off of the same car as well. There is a 1/4" line that feeds the rear brakes from the proportioning valve to the distribution block at the rear end then splits to 3/16 lines that go to the rear brakes. I have looked all over the place to find a fitting that will go from the 1/4" hard line to a 1/4" braided flex line to feed the rear brakes. Not having found the fitting I would like to know if I can go from the 1/4" hard line to a 3/16" flex line to feed the rear brakes will be OK. This will leave me supplying the distribution block with a 3/16" line going in and 2, 3/16" lines going out. Will this effect the proper functioning of the rear brakes? Thanks.
