I have a 67 Catalina w/ a 400/400th. When I'm driving it down a hill or letting it coast at cruising speed, it slips out of gear. When I hit the gas again it revs for a second like it's in neutral, then it pops back into gear. I just put the car back on the road after about 8-9 months. I also installed a new edelbrock carb. Did I put the vac hose and modulator hoses on the wrong sides, or is it the trans itself? The car didn't do this the last time I drove it 9 months ago.

Don't blame me cause your chevy broke down, you should have bought a PONTIAC!!
