W48:
IF the clutch won't Relaese, adjustment is the first easy attempt to the cure. the threaded rod, runs from a block @ bottom of "Z" bar (Bellcrank), to the clutch bearing release arm that sticks out of Bell Housing.there is a 1/4" squared area near the release arm, (the only reason I own a 4" adjustable Wrench) !!! Turn that rod Counter-Clockwise,(Loosen-direction), a few threads at a time. Start the car & test, adjust & testThis may take a couple of tries!!! If you see a nut somewhere along the threaded rod,it is a Locknut, needs to go tight up to adjustment block when you"re done. Hint: exh. pipes make big OOoowwee on ForeArms....Let pipes cool,Between tests!!!
