Dude,
Right On! I also will trade high lift flow for mid lift flow. And high RPM HP for mid range power. That is why I run conservative cams, small ports and great low and mid lift flow heads. And the proof is always in the results when the tires meet the drag strip!

Yes, I feel the same about the doctored up "modern" lobes. And that may be why the CC XE series has more noise and reliability problems.
