my 69 bird runs way hot too..avg 210 - 250. I was turned on to a great solution - water wetter. this is used for parade cars where the heat and lack of air flow kill. I drained and flushed my radiator and added this little bottle of heaven sent mystery solution to regular water...thats right water. My operasting temp went down to 185 and stayed there. no other mods were done! I ran on this all last summer in NJ and was just amazed. The drawback obviously is cold weather, you will pop a freezeout plug if u leave it in, But from may till oct I am fine. The bottle cost under $10.

I am running a 350 4bbl bored 30 over with a 4 sp manual
