Fram is located right next to me in Providence. A friend of mine used their filter on his Pontiac and had problems like yours. I have never heard anything good about them, except from Mr. Baker. Wix always gets exceptional reviews from everyone. Not a hard choice to make.

That System 1 tube made me nervous. For $85, I shouldn't be nervous. When I wiped out a bearing, that tube was full of copper. No matter how many times I pushed the ball down and used the parts washer or carb cleaner, whenever I ran a Q-tip down there, there was still copper showing up.

Causin' pain like two bad nurses.....
