"If you are using a 1969 and newer timing chain cover with the longer waterpump you will need to use a 69-70 top pulley. The bottom pulley is the same. You also will need to use the newer alt.
bracket that goes from the waterpump bolt to the alt. it is differant from the 68."

ok, ... how do i know if im using the newer timing chain cover.. what are the differences?
