I made a set of 1/4" spacer plates that go under the frame mounting plates on the recommendation of the guy who's doing the body on my Goat. He has a '69 RA IV GTO that he needed to do this on to clear a set of Hookers. It will raise the engine 1/2" , which will give me nore finger room, and hopefully forestall any clearance problems with the Dougs headers on my '66. I'll let you guys know how it all fits!
