Hi,

The parts are out there, but you have to do a little work to find them.

I took a pair of solid 71 GTO fenders to Charlotte Autofair. They were priced at $750 for the pair. About a dozen people looked and tried to get them for $400 - 500, a number of people only wanted one fender. I held firm and brought them home. The interesting thing was that the best offer I had was from a Pontiac parts vendor.

I heard a couple of other vendors complain that they brought parts that are generally in demand, but people weren't buying.

I bought a pair of nearly perfect 72 fenders recently, but I had to pay $800 for the pair and drive close to eight hours round trip. The guy wasn't willing to shoot photos or ship, so I took a gamble.
