I would go with the 276 if the car is full wieght and geared above 4.11.
It's my experiance that heavy street cars go faster and have better ETs with less than 500 lift and 240 duration @ 50.
With proper tunning your car could drive a couple of hours to the track, then turn mid to high 12s in the quarter, on the same street tires, or put on the slicks and run 11s.
Thats what I would call a street strip car.
Bigger is just bigger not faster.
