David, I see you checked that you have fuel getting to the carb, but perhaps your float / needle is stuck.
Do you get a good squirt of gas from the accelerator pump ? Have you tried pouring a small capful of gas into the carb to prime ? All of your other steps which you meticulously detailed sound right on. Pretty soon I see a new book coming out. Pontiacs for Dummies.
