Here in Texas they tow the car, you get a trip to jail, your license gets revoked, and you get charged with a felony along the lines of DUI/DWI. Then there are the fines and fees to pay, some of which have to be paid every year for 3 years.
Still, people street race. I was never much of a street racer anyway but now I drive like grandpa; got too much on the line to risk it. |
