If your engine's oil was changed regularly then you shouldn't have any problem. Where synthetic oils really tend to leak is with engines that have varnish buildup because they clean the varnish away. With only 7K miles I wouldn't be worried about it plus you can extend your oil change intervals.
Synthetics will sweat out cork gaskets but nothing really major. Just enough to look nasty when dust clings to it. I just use Simply Green and clean the engine monthly. Be careful with other cleaners because they might fade your engine paint.
