Not much help,but back in high school I put a 455/400 turbo in a 51 Studebaker pickup. It fit pretty good, but when I set it in the frame hit the floor. Had to get new springs. Big weight difference from the 6 cyl 3 on the tree. It sure made a cool truck when done.
