My engine builder has recently recieved a Eagle 3"/4.250" and a SCAT 3"/4.210", both cranks checked out fine. Again, these were recent purchases so I'm wondering if the dimension problems are a thing of the past. At least hopefuly from quality vendors, it would be a shame to find out that a bunch of previous cranks with known problems are being unloaded into the market by e-bay or from a vender that doesn't care.
On the balance subject... are they left unbalanced because you need to match them up when balancing with the flywheel or flexplate, harmonic balancer and the piston/rod weights ?
