I had to re-paint my cowl because of all the welding and body work I've done recently and my cowl tag was very worn because of how many times it had been re-painted.
I remembered seeing an add in "Smoke Signals" for a guy here in Ct. that restamps tags.
I sent A.G. several emails and he returned everyone faster than anyone I've ever dealt with. He gave me very detailed info and was very helpful. I sent him payment and my info an Sat and had the new tag in my hands that Wed. It is perfect and well worth the money. You get the tag and the two correct rivets. I defnately reccomend getting in touch with him if you have a screwed up tag. He does most makes and models.
