8.2 I know not again
I am fairly new here and have quick question regarding the 8.2.
I have a 8.2 BOP rear which has aftermarket axles and a T/A cover. Actually the rear is disassembled and the parts came with it. Two things I do not do are rears and tranny's so forgive what might be a stupid question Given that it has the bolt in upgraded axles, T/A cover, I would add a Eaton or? posi and new gears....What would be the weak point in the rear compared to the 8.5 without the above? Combo puts out real 485ftlbs but will probably never see slicks. Maybe T/A STREET STRIP TIRE?? Anybody running a similar combo???? Thanks |
