Angry Need some help crossmember

Need some help I am redoing a 67 GTO I have cutout and replaced the full floorpan on the Pass. side No Problem!!!
On the drivers side I cut out the floor pan and found that the front crossmember is gone right where the body mount comes thur the frame about 3 inches the rest is fine I have purchased a 16" replacement part from PY my question is how do I get to the crossmember that connects to the back part of the rocker i dont want to remove the body from the frame just yet I wanted to weld the floor pan in before I lifted the body so nothing twists I welded a new trunk in so the metal back there is all good and all the body mounts are removed at this point
Is there an easy way or not so easy way to do this??
Can I lift just one side to get to it or will it twist???
Thank You in Advance
Paul
