Hi,

Maybe I can help a little. The body number indicates that it was manufactured at the Pontiac plant. The number is purely a sequential number that indicates that it was the 16,739th that was produced at that facility. As a matter of interest, this is the nearest car that I have found to mine to date! My '64 'post is number 16,946. Since they are so close, I can reasonably accurately predict that your car was manufactured in mid May, 1964. The trim code,214, indicates a black interior. The 5N code indicates that it is a GTO. I do not know what the other codes translate to. You would be best to invest $35 into a PHS search which should tell you some more about your car, and confirm that it is what you believe it to be. I cannot advise on values as I live in England. Hopefully somebody over your side of the pond should be able to help you on that. Good luck, and let us know how you get on!

Pod.
