Thanks for all the info TAkid.
I put the entire Pypes system on my '71 TA HO.
Downpipes from the stock manifolds, xpipe,
their transverse muffler, and the stainless extensions
that look just like the chrome tips.
I'm not really thrilled with the sound.
Too "clacky". I prefer the lower frequency stuff.
I also have the drone at cruising speeds (55 mph),
but it clears up at 65 mph.
I too am willing to change mufflers if anyone has any advice
for a transverse with the same flow, but much throatier.
