Posi installation

I have a 12 bolt rearend that I have an eaton posi and 3.73 gears for. How hard is it to install a new posi carrier and gears for a first timer? Are there any books or videos that I can get to learn how? Or should I just pay the local differential guy 300.00? Is it that difficult? Thanks guys.
