Question 70 GTO core support removal Question

I need to remove my core support and repair it or replace it? Can somebody give me a quick guideline on what comes off? I hear I can keep the fenders and hood on and remove the core support? I have never taken the front end off of my GTO so I am not that familiar with it. Will I have to support the fenders somehow when I take the core support out to replace or repair it?

Also I have read that a 69 lemans core support is a direct replacement? Is that correct?

I just had my car painted too!! Just another reason for me to buy a compressor, tools and learn to mess it up myself! Thanks again everyone.
