I had the same problem. The upholstry shop that did them said they would relax and live with it. I was about to cut a set of legs shorter, but ended up taking the seats to a custom shop that simply took the foam padding and hot wire cut some of the bulkyness out of them, actually giving them better shape. It lowered me enough that it's reasonable again. I was told the repop foam is too much volume, and that they need to be shaped down a bit. Not sure if that it true, but it worked for me
