Thanks for the rapid assistance. I think the 66 has two mounts further back, but not sure. Helped my number 1 son with his 72 GTO, but not enough rust to get into the motor mounts. The back two on the 66 are inside a channel that runs across the back of the trunk floor, and I think I'll have to replace the nut and clip when I finally get the old nut out. However, I like your idea of using a nibbler or something similar to cut through the top, and peeling it back. I don't see a raised part, but I can guess pretty close and I'm sure the welding will be easier. I felt like it would be easier to hide if I cut in underneath, but would be a real pain laying on the floor welding it back shut. Next question will be about the rotory. Looks like Rotor 2000 will no way bolt to back mounts on the 66. Thanks again for your response. Helps alot.
