Can anyone suggest a source for the clips used to retain the rear glass upper stainless trim- car is a 63 LeMans coupe, 2217. I have a new rubber gasket from Steele Rubber, but need the trim clips which have a u-shaped base that goes over the pinch weld flange. Clips from Restoration Specialties (3761) are close, but not close enough.
I have tried using some windshield type clips screwed to the opening I am afraid these will interfere with the gasket flange. Another option is to bond the trim with urethane windshield sealer, and hope it never has to be removed.
