I am sure both the buyer and seller are unaware that this is a reproduction valve cover decal. It was made by Bob Warden in the late 70's to early 80's. It is a good quality reproduction, but is not NOS GM. I have one of these that came with an SD-455 car I bought. It was in an envelope with the invoice from Bob Warden.

The NOS GM decal does not have the 3M logo on the back, and has the GM part number printed on the front. The piece with the part number breaks off and separates from the decal when the backing is removed.

I don't know if the buyer would have paid $405.99 if he had known it was a repro, but maybe he will be happy with it anyway.
