Well I was visiting my grand parents, it was about 9 or 10 years ago, I was cruising around El Paso, Texas, and lo and behold what do I see, a black 66 GTO, this thing was beautiful, I stopped because it had a for sale sign.
Well I walked up it was Black outside and Red inside, it had a 389 Tri-power, and a Four speed transmission, this thing was show car nice. I walked up to the for sale sign and it says, numbers matching 389 tri power, 4speed muncie, factory posi, 4,500 dollars I talked to the guy who owned it, he worked at the garage where it was parked, he said he needed the money really bad, so I went to the bank, went back 3 days later, no money in hand but ready to write a check. I walk up to the shop, its not there, I walk inside talk to the owner, and he said that guy hadnt shown up for work the past 3 days, said it was really weird. I wanted to cry. Supposedly the owner said maybe the mob hadnt gotten him, I dont know if he was joking or not. Anyways, this is a true story and I really wish I had been able to buy that GTO.
