If the shipping costs were available before you bid, you have NO complaint! How can you justify complaining after the fact if you knew going in what the terms were? If the shipping costs weren't made clear up front, then you should have been leery of the transaction.
Incidentally, I have used eBay for over 50 transactions--all purchases, no sales--so I'm not just an apologist for sellers.
