Default 421 rear oil passage area

Maybe someone in the Race section of the forum can answer this question. Can the area of the right rear oil passage where the soft plug goes in be repaired with an epoxy or J-B Weld? I had my block in to be vatted and cleaned and all plugs removed (oil, freeze etc.) and picked up my block and all the plugs are still in the engine except the freeze plugs. When I got home and wa putting my block on the engine stand I noticed the rear oil plugs were still in the block and that is when I noticed the soft plug gone and the area where the soft plug goes has a crack thru it. Can this be repaired or is my 65 421 Block now history?
