455 into 78 K5 Blazer
Now here's a plow truck idea....
I have a line on a K5 Blazer needing engine, seller wants to keep the Chev 350 in it. I have a nice running 74 455 with 400 trans from 73 GP. Blaze Prix??? How to make it work??? Motor mount ideas, starter wiring is different I think because Chev doesn't run a resistance wire, right? Exhaust shouldnt' be an issue and fuel deliveryis on the wrong side but not too big a deal. help me out here, this might be really quite cool. (This is what I get for sitting in the hot sun today (85 degrees today in PA...Go figure) at a car show with nothing to do for a change. |
