For the height, I'd have to check the blueprints to find the exact figure. The square footage is a bit over 1,500.
As for the diagonal framing, it eliminates the need for any sheathing before the siding is applied. The diagonals add a great deal of rigidity to the structure, and reduce lateral movement, unlike traditional vertical framing members.
