ok update on problem. seems to be corrected at this point. had it running last night for about 30 min and running around 170. bottom line i think that replacing radiator,flushing the block ,and advanceing the timing to around 15 initial corrected the problem.(so far anyway ) thanks for all the replys that helped me correct this problem. jeff
