Default Parking Brake Light for 1968 GTO

Can anyone tell me what is supposed to be where the emerg. brake pedal contacts the wire to the brake light? I have a bolt with a hole in it with a spring sticking out of the top of it & a wire on the bottom of the bolt (wire falls out). The light used to work but I can't get it to work now, not sure of how it should work. The connection at the pedal has been loose since I've had the car but I could usually wiggle it & get it to work.

Is there any connection between this & the buzzer (key in ignition with door open). I noticed the short fuse on the bottom of fuse box is not hot on either side, switch on or off, wondered what it was for, can't read what it says.

Thanks for any help.

Bill
