It was published in a pontiac magazine about six years ago.
That there were only (1800) 1979 10th anniversarys known left to exist
And out of the (1800) 500 were 4 speed cars.
I rememeber reading in that article they only made
about 12-15 pace cars for parades

By the way. I own the pace car that was at the daytona 500
it was the 4th 1979 10th anniversary trans am made!

I also own four other 1979 10th anniversary trans ams.
The 1979 10th anniversay trans am registry was shut down
about 5-7 years ago.
