I used the 246/253 duration cam in my 455 way back when.

That was an awesome grind.

Went 12.01 time after time.

Heres a quick breakdown:
Car weighed 3750 at the time.
455 .030 TRWs.
No 13 heads,unported.Just a valve job.
Stock T-2 intake.
Holley 850.
1.75 Heddman headers.
Comp Roller tip rockers.
Torque Tech 3" exhaust with tailpipes.
Generic TCI 3500 conveter.
3.89 gears.

Cam was also advanced 4 degrees.

Gave alot of Mustangs the whooping;as that cam was very streetable.I drove that thing everywhere.
