I came across a carter quadrajet that I need info for. Problem is the carb is a restamp.
Would anybody here know what application this carb would of came from. Throttle body #7037174 Bowl #7037576 Airhorn # 7037454 Jets 73 p rods 47 s rods bp It has pontiac linkage and divorced choke. I'm going to use it for my project until I can find a better carb. I've heard that carter never made high performance carbs. Is this true? With these casting numbers it matches a 7029273 carb but I know it isn't a 273. But what would a carter like this be. A SR carb? As I said it is restamped. Thanks for replies. |
