Default Fuel tank problem

I just installed a replacement gas tank, and just realized the new sending unit only has one fitting on it. I can't remember if the old tank had a return line fitting or what. Did they give me the wrong sending unit? Anybody have a picture of what the unit is supposed to look like. Going by the manual the original has a 2nd fitting. Im still relatively new at this so any help would be appreciated so i can get my baby back on the road again.
