hey kiddies, well, yet another question for my motor: i just got her all buttoned back up from a rear main seal change. i was checking the lash on my hydraulic roller camshaft from p-dude, and i found 3 lifters that have no movement in the cup whatsoever, and 1 that barely moves in the cup. all the others, when adjusting, have that little bit of 'squish' to them, but when i tried to set the first one like that i ran into, as soon as i felt resistance spinning the pushrod, if i tried to turn the nut a half turn, i could feel it binding, like i was pushing against the spring. i lightly tapped on the pushrod after i removed the rocker, and it did not budge at all. so i went through the rest of the motor, (i was halfway through...) and found three more just like it. this doesn't seem normal to me, but this is my first roller, any insights on what could be happening, or have happened? the filter and pan were spotless, no junk running through the motor as far as i could tell.
the motor was broken in like a regular motor, i used comp break in lube, and i am certain i am not on any ramp of a lobe, as i have checked them repeatedly, and with no rocker arm attached....... please let me know anything information wise you may have to offer, this thing is killing me............ davey
