I read a Hot Rod magazine when I was 17 (1987) that was printed a year or two earlier. In it they had a write up on a burgundy ’64 GTO they restored and were giving away. I didn’t know anything about them, but thought it was one badass car, so I searched for, found and bought one summer of ’88. It’s still in my “stable” today.
