[455_PWR]

Hi all, well my gen1 supercharger bearings are going out on my 97 gtp coupe. It's a lovely $1900 minimum for a new 'charger unless I can find a nice used one and my bearings are really almost ready to explode! I can't bearly even keep the car running at stoplights, and I really don't wan't the bearings to give into the motor. I was wondering if a series 2 supercharger off any 98-02 is interchangable. I believe they all put out the same boost they just redesigned the bearings for greater durablility, so I don't think there would be any conflicts with the pcm or anything? Also does anyone know of any cheaper superchargers-used or non used? thanks everyone!
