Newbie on the board and semi new to pontiacs.Just want to get all my info straight before i get started on my next project.
I have a 68 Tempest Custom that i've had for about 7 years.Been sitting for the past 5.Originally a 350/2 spd car, nothing but power steering. I have a 76 455 that i'd like to twin turbo and put fuel injection on.Its a two bolt block out of a catalina i think. Is this a good starting block.I beleive i read somewhere that i need adapters to put this engine in my tempest??Would this block(with the right parts and prep work)handle 500-700hp at low boost levels??MY major concern is with the block. Not to concerned with any of the external fab work(it's what i do),or the fuel injection just yet, just want to make sure i have a good starting foundation. Thanks in advance |
