First car was a 67 Cougar, second was a 72 GTO. Bought the Cougar when I was 13, worked my ass off all summer and paid $450 for it. Picked up the GTO from a junkyard for $175 on my 17th birthday, drove it home with no front bumper, a severely bent hood, and only one set of headlights working. Good thing it was daylight.

Still have both of them, and a bunch of others. The Cougar is in my shop right now, just got the paint done, the headliner, front and rear glass in, and currently the door glass is the project kicking my butt. I am doing a ground up rebuild and so far the only thing I havent done myself is machine work on the engine. It was a bare shell in 06 and I hope to drive it in June for the first time since 87. I beat that car mercilessly when I was 16. I am lucky to be alive and still have it in one piece.

This pic is from 1986 right after I got the 72.

This is what the Cougar looked like after I finished buffing the paint.

A 79 TA SE is next and then the GTOs. Once again only thing anyone else will do is machine work.
