The hub on my wheel looks to have the same finish as the one you have pictured here. What years was that finish used on?
Also, I found another wheel that is the same as the one I described earlier in this thread, except on the back of the spoke at 6 oclock position, there is some sort of a (for lack of a better word) round casting mark or flaw.
